March 2022 Update

The winners of the concurso are out but unfortunatelly I am not in the selection and featured , but now I can show my page here.

I wanted to tell a story about the azorean whalers, in particular the whalers of Faial Island , I found a book in the local library in Horta with thetext of Manuel Alegre and photography of Joao Carlos Lope plus I watch some documentary and interviews of the old whalers on youtube.

The drawing in the home page is Cachalote, ink drawing as part of a project for Avenida Marginal Contest of one page comic, (http://concursobdavenidamarginal.blogspot.com/) the title is “A baleia nos olhos”.Inspired by the Azorean whalers.
